He helped save family from fire last summer
(SUNMAN, Ind.) – Caleb Barnes saved a couple during a house fire in Franklin County last summer.
He drove by their home at 3 a.m. and noticed smoke coming from the cabin. He did not know the family, but drove up to the house, and banged on the doors and windows.
The couple was asleep but were alerted by his actions. They escaped from the cabin less than 10 minutes before it collapsed.
Now, Caleb and his wife, Alainie, are the ones who need some help.

Their son, Arlen Roy, was born premature on April 1 and is experiencing significant health complications.
Arlen has been transferred to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital with issues including glucose problems and possible bacterial meningitis.
Caleb and his wife are asking for prayers during this difficult time.
There is a prayer service scheduled for 6:30 p.m. tonight at Bright Christian Church.
“We’ve had so many people reach out wanting to help, and I think a great option is to gather together and make our requests known to God,” organizers said.
There is also a Go Fund Me that has been established for medical expenses. You can visit that link here.
