Ribbon cutting set for miscarriage cemetery on Sunday

The public is welcome to attend

(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – A ribbon cutting will be held for a new cemetery for miscarried babies.

The ceremony will be held at South Park Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, December 8.

It is called Little Souls Cemetery and it was made possible through community donations. The project is led by Rebecca and Chris Harpring who launched the non-profit Covenant Resources Miscarriage Ministry in 2023.

Little Souls is the second cemetery for miscarriages as the Harpring’s initially helped open one at St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

South Park Cemetery is located at 405 S. East Street in Greensburg.
