Ripley Co. hiring jail officers, courthouse security

(VERSAILLES, Ind.) – The Ripley County Sheriff’s Office is a jail officer as well as a part-time courthouse officer. 


Jail officer positions feature a 4-day work week and off every other weekend. Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license. Click here for an application. 


The sheriff’s office is also hiring for a part-time Courthouse Security Officer. 


Applicants must be at least 21-years-old with a high school diploma and be able to complete physical tactics training. 


The position has a minimum of 20 hours per week with additional hours as needed.Days and times may vary.
