Here's when the Shiners found out they qualified:
(RISING SUN, Ind.) -- The Rising Sun cheerleading team is going to the state championship!
On Saturday, they placed fourth in their division during the Indiana Cheer Championship Varsity Prelims in Indianapolis.
The fourth place finish secured a trip to the state finals at New Castle on November 4.
The Shiners are creating a bit of a dynasty as this marks the third straight year they've qualified for state. They're hoping this year will be their best performance yet.
High school cheerleading competitions are overseen by the Indiana Association of School Principals.
