Griffith breaks all-time school record to claim title

(RUSHVILLE, Ind.) -- Charity Griffith dominated the competition at the NCAA Track & Field National Championship in Texas this weekend.
The Rushville graduate won the national title in high jump for Ball State.
Griffith broke the school-record and her personal best with a jump of 1.93 meters. No other competitors could clear 1.90 meters.
Her performance secured Ball State's first national championship since 1999.
At Rushville, Griffith was a two-time sectional champion and a one-time regional champion in high jump. She graduated high school in 2019.
