Interact for Health awards domestic violence organization
(CINCINNATI) – Safe Passage is one of three Tri-State organizations receiving a grant to continue their mission of addressing health challenges and inequalities in the area.
The grant is from Interact for Health, which is a Cincinnati-based foundation that focuses on healthy living.
Safe Passage is receiving $102,500 to support their emergency shelter, expand mobile advocacy, prevention programming, and health and well-being activities for survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence.
“Our community looks to Safe Passage to meet and exceed the needs of survivors of domestic and sexual violence from our extensive southeast Indiana service region because of our remarkably talented team and top-notch programming. Partnering with Interact for Health will allow us to provide innovative community connections, holistic health and wellness, and reliable mobile advocacy to those who are in the greatest need and are most deserving of safety and healing, said Safe Passage Executive Director Cari Kettman.
Safe Passage is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide help, healing and hope to build a community free of domestic and sexual violence.
