Safe Passage fundraiser on Saturday

Funds help non-profit continue mission of helping victims

(BATESVILLE, Ind.) -- Safe Passage will host their annual fundraiser at Walhill Farm in Batesville on Saturday.

Organizers say the event is already sold out and more than 300 guests will gather to support the Safe Passage's mission of providing help, healing and hope to domestic and sexual violence survivors.

There will be a brunch, inspirational programming, raffle and silent auction.

This event will celebrate 26 years of providing free, comprehensive and confidential support to survivors and their children in the six county district.

Safe Passage served 1500 people through the tollfree number, shelter or nonresidential programming last year.

For those not attending the benefit, but who would like to support the organization, there is an online auction already open featuring 60+ items and a donation opportunity with no cost to register. Click here to view the online auction.

The auction closes at 10:30 a.m. Saturday.

For more information visit their website or call or text the toll-free helpline at 877 733-1990.
