Banquet set for April 4
(VEVAY, Ind.) – Switzerland County High School will induct new members into their Hall of Fame on Thursday, April 4.
It will be held at Belterra Casino and former Cincinnati Reds player Bill Doran will be the guest speaker. He will help honor Switzerland County alum Larry Ray during the banquet.
The school will induct Harold Hickman into their hall of fame class. Hickman graduated from Vevay High School in 1943 and earned numerous letters before enlisting in the Navy.
He would later play sports at Franklin College before becoming a basketball coach.
Switzerland County will also recognize David “Buck” White and David “Hollywood” Peelman. Those two are considered to be the number one fans of the Pacers.
