SEIMA Hall of Fame ceremony set for Saturday

Will induct 12 new members into Hall of Fame

(BATESVILLE, Ind.) – The Southeast Indiana Musicians Association (SEIMA) host their Hall of Fame awards presentation at 6 p.m. on Saturday at the Gibson Theater in Batesville.


There will be a guest performance by Nashville recording artist Vince Moreno, as well as the SEIMA project winners. 


The non-profit is inducting 12 new members into the Hall of Fame this year.


The 2024 inductees are Justin Selmeyer, Marilyn Cook Booker, Alvin Wilhelm, John Brown, Tony Brown, Troy Brown, Bill Hinds, Steve Brooks, Gary Norman, Billy McIntosh, Jim Wendell and Jim Hutson .


SEIMA was founded in 2001 and honors exemplary musicians who have resided, and performed music locally in southeastern Indiana, including Dearborn, Ohio, Ripley, Switzerland and Franklin counties, for at least 15 years and have contributed to the cultural growth of music in the community.


The organization is also committed to the purposes of promoting music awareness, music appreciation and music education.
