Events underway this weekend
(OSGOOD, Ind.) – There are several places to go to watch the rare total solar eclipse on Monday.
Greensburg has been preparing for the solar eclipse for the past three years. There are several events and activities leading up to Monday afternoon. Click here for a complete list of options.
The Ripley County Chamber of Commerce is hosting “Party in the Dark” at the Ripley County Fairgrounds. There are still campsites remaining there and the event will feature a corn hole tournament, beer garden, children's games, food vendors and more.
Batesville will hold “Blackout Bash” at the Bill Gillispie Soccer Complex on Sunday afternoon. It will feature activities, food trucks, music and more. Click here to see what is happening.
Holtkamp Winery in Sunman will be offering a unique party on Monday. They will have music, brick oven pizza, wine tastings, and craft beer.
Metamora is hosting the “Dark Side of the Moon” festival which began Saturday. Learn more here.
“Join on our 33 acre campground where we will be celebrating this event with our friends,” organizers said.
