Given to their teen employees
(BATESVILLE, Ind.) – The Southeastern Indiana YMCA is awarding six young employees with scholarships.
The teens are being recognized for completing one year of consecutive employment and working at least five hours a week.
“Having the opportunity to be awarded up to $1,000 each year to use for educational purposes, our youth can find their passion, purpose and reach their potential through employment at the Y,” said Tara Britton, Southeastern Indiana YMCA Chief Executive Officer.
The students who received the award are Emi Lopez, Ava Kraus, Lydia Linville, Austin Balser, Albert Hudepohl and Holten Harrison.
“We are so proud to recognize these responsible and hard working individuals who exemplify the core values of the Y with their caring, welcoming, and genuine team spirit,” Britton added.
