(BATESVILLE, Ind.) – The spring months bring the opportunity for severe weather in Indiana.
That’s why there will be a statewide tornado drill at 10:15 a.m. Tuesday.
The test warning will activate the Emergency Alert System and include same activation on NOAA Weather Radio, but will not trigger a Wireless Emergency Alert.
It’s part of Severe Weather Preparedness Week in Indiana.
During this drill, residents are encouraged to practice their safety plan in case of an actual tornado warning.
