More than a dozen veterans honored
(GREENSBURG) -- StoneBridge Trucking hosted their annualuu Christmas party at their Greensburg headquarters Saturday night.
The shipping and logistics provider held the event for current and former employees, customers and friends of the company.
During the event, StoneBridge welcomed the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) Lone Tree Chapter.
In conjunction with StoneBridge, DAR recognized veterans who served in the Vietnam-era between 1955 and 1975.
More than a dozen people associated with the company were honored.
"We wanted to honor our veterans that we had in our fleet, plus our retired veterans, plus, the veterans who are in attendance at our Christmas party," said StoneBridge operations manager Brad Stephens.
Stephens added, "This means a lot. My dad was a Vietnam veteran. And it hits home with some of the stories that he used to tell us. So this is huge to be able to partner with the Daughters of the American Revolution."
