Sunman man hurt in motorcycle crash near Napoleon

Happened Wednesday night

(NAPOLEON, Ind.) – A Sunman man was hurt after a motorcycle crash near Napoleon on Wednesday. 

Ripley County deputies responded to the crash around 8:20 p.m. on State Road 229. 

Police say 48-year-old Daniel Rork, of Sunman, was operating a motorcycle that left the roadway for an unknown reason. 

Rork sustained serious injuries and was flown to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.

Deputies say speed is believed to be a factor in the crash. Drugs and alcohol are not believed to be a factor of the crash
