Surprise! Impractical Jokers star shows up in Brookville

He surprised local girl scouts

(BROOKVILLE, Ind.) – A television star showed up in Brookville on Saturday. 

Joe Gatto of Impractical Jokers stopped in town ahead of a show he has tonight in Muncie. 

Morgan Shoemaker and her daughter were selling Girl Scout cookies in front of A&R Sales.

Gatto approached the Girl Scout table and Shoemaker knew immediately who he was. 

“When we say we were shocked, that is an understatement. Me and my daughter watch the show and immediately knew who he was,” she recalled. 

Gatto ended up buying all of the girl scout cookies that were for sale and then tipped the girls $30.

“It is pretty awesome and just to be in a small town you don’t think things like that are going to happen,” Shoemaker said. 

The girl scouts selling cookies were Brantleigh Schmitz, Ema Bowling and Sophia Sturgell.
