Survey opens for future Decatur County pool

Residents encouraged to give feedback

(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – Decatur County residents have an opportunity to share their thoughts regarding a new pool.

The Allen Memorial Pool was built in 1959 and it was last renovated in 2009. 

Since then it has suffered significant structural failures and needs to be replaced, officials said.  

Decatur County Parks Director Teresa Kovacich and her team have spent a substantial amount of time considering alternatives and options to either improve or replace the aging pool. 

Officials are still determining the project scope, cost, and how it will be funded.

Decatur County Parks and Recreation has launched a survey asking residents to share their opinions. The deadline to complete the survey is February 15.
