Third grader creates lemonade stand for sick children

Inspired by her baby sister

(MORRIS, Ind.) -- A Batesville third grader has launched a unique lemonade stand fundraiser at her home in Morris on Saturday.

8-year-old Raylyn Moore has a baby sister who has had extensive medical problems including heart surgery.

Raylyn has seen how Cincinnati Children’s Hospital helped her sister, so she decided to start a lemonade stand with all proceeds going to the hospital to help other sick kids.

The lemonade stand is open until 4 p.m. today and is located at 4632 E. Morris Firehouse Road in Morris.

Raylyn’s stand will also be open next weekend and The 812 will do a full story later this week!
