Milan held a pep rally on Friday morning
(BATESVILLE, Ind.) – Three local teams competed for a Regional championship on Friday.
The Milan Indians traveled to Providence where they lost 28-10 to end their successful season.
East Central was in their first Class 5A Regional after winning two consecutive state titles. They lost 21-16 to Decatur Central.
The Batesville Bulldogs won a thriller against Tri-West 41-37 to claim their first Regional since 1986.
The Bulldogs will travel to Santa Claus, Indiana to face Heritage Hills in the Semi-State next weekend.
