United Fund has record year at annual Auction and Dinner

Took place at Knights of Columbus Hall in Greensburg

(GREENSBURG, Ind.) –  The Decatur County United Fund held its 28th Annual Auction and Dinner on November 1.

The event included an auction with 72 items ranging from sports memorabilia, dinners, destinations, household items and experiences.

Cunningham noted, “The evening was a lot of fun and many in attendance dressed up in some really unique outfits for our Halloween theme. Those in attendance bid in support of the 16 non-profits providing valuable programs and services to Decatur County residents.”

The 2025 grantees are Advocates for Children, Carousel Play and Learn Center, Catch A Ride, Champions of Youth, Children’s Advocacy Center of Southeastern Indiana, Community Healthcare Clinic, Decatur County Family YMCA, Decatur County Kid’s Closet, Decatur County Youth Baseball, Girl Scouts, Greensburg Community Bread of Life, Head Start and Human Services, Our Hospice, Turning Point and Speranza House.

“A special thank you goes to Coach Collin Rigney and the Greensburg Community High School basketball team who setup tables and chairs prior to the event.  Coach PJ Metz and the North Decatur High School basketball team members came in on Saturday following the event and helped with clean up and re-setting the hall tables.  Both teams have helped with set-up and tear-down of the auction for many years and it is greatly appreciated.” Cunningham stated.
