Up to 1" snow possible Friday, forecasters eye Sunday

Drivers urge to use caution Friday morning

(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – If you don’t care for the cold weather there is bad news for you as it is going to get worse.

Friday could be the last day we see temperatures reach 30 degrees until at least Wednesday.

We could see a wintry mix of precipitation develop late tonight with the possibility of an inch of snow by 8 a.m. Friday.

Drivers should use caution tomorrow morning as there could be untreated roads or black ice.

What happens Sunday?

Forecasters are looking at the possibility for a major winter storm Sunday and early Monday. It’s a bit too early to say what exactly will happen as more detailed maps and forecasts should be available over the next 24 hours.

Chad Gutzwiller with Weather Wave says, “This one could be a dandy for the Ohio Valley. I am NOT sounding the ‘panic alarm’ but I am indicating to ‘be on guard’ with this one.”
