Seeking building materials, tradesman
(CHIMNEY ROCK, NC) – Members of Osgood-based Upper Room Cafe continue to give back to the victims of the hurricane in North Carolina.
Last week, they collected donations and dropped them off in the Asheville area.
Members of the organization were asked to lead a rebuilding project for those who lost everything.
“As we prayed over the task, we came across this little image of Jesus —a reminder of the hope we carry with us and how desperately the people here need it,” the cafe said.
They are hoping to get some help from back home here in Southeast Indiana. Here’s what they are looking for:
• Builders, contractors, tradesmen, and suppliers— they need you!
• Donations of building materials, tools, and other supplies will be critical.
• Financial donations are also welcome, and they will shop for what’s needed if you can’t supply it yourself.
They are hoping to receive donated materials, funds and hopefully some tradespeople who can help with the rebuilding.
