(VEVAY, Ind.) -- The Vevay Police Department is hoping to get information after shots were fired last week.
Authorities responded to a report of shots fired at the Swiss Ave Apartments around 1:30 a.m. on Friday, January 5.
Witnesses told police that several shots were fired before a silver two-door vehicle with a loud exhaust left the area.
Officers were unable to locate the vehicle but did find evidence at the scene.
"During the initial investigation of the scene, several spent handgun casings were located," said Vevay Police Chief David Wolf.
