Each kid will receive a gift on Friday
(VEVAY, Ind.) -- Did you know there is a racecar museum in downtown Vevay?
The Racing Performance Museum (RPM) showcases cars driven by some of the biggest names including Mario Andretti, Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson.
Several of the cars in the collection have raced in the Indianapolis 500 and the Brickyard 400.
If you're family loves racing, this coming weekend would be an ideal time to make the trip to the new museum.
RPM will have a Christmas party on Friday, December 1 and every child that enters the museum will get a toy gift.
The museum will also give away four bikes and two large stuffed animals during the event.
"Santa will be coming in on the firetruck. we will be giving away cookies, hot chocolate and goodie bags, we will have a Donut and BBQ food trucks in the parking lot. There will be lots of stuff going on," organizers said.
The event is from 6 to 9 p.m. and the museum is located at 106 E. Main Street in Vevay.
