Volunteer firefighters respond to structure fire Saturday

A pole barn caught fire

(CONNERSVILLE, Ind.) – Four local volunteer fire departments responded to a structure in southern Fayette County on Saturday afternoon. 


A pole barn caught fire around 2 p.m. at a property in the 3000 block of County Road 750 South in Connersville. 


Everton, Glenwood and Bentonville fire departments were first on the scene and then Blooming Grove was also requested to respond.


No word on the extend of the damage or if there are any injuries.
