Where to see fireworks in Southeast Indiana this week

List of fireworks in our area

(SOUTHEAST INDIANA) – There are plenty of opportunities to watch fireworks during the week of July 4 in our area. If we missed any events just send us an email to news@812now.com


Bright - July 3 

There will be a Patriotic Celebration featuring fireworks at Bright Christian Church on Wednesday. It is called “God and Country” and will feature music by My Brother’s Keeper and the Bright Christian Church Worship Band. The event begins at 7 p.m. and fireworks will be at dusk.


Greensburg  - July 3 

The Decatur County Parks & Recreation is hosting the Annual Fourth of July Fireworks Show at the Decatur County Fairgrounds at dusk on July 3rd! The annual parade takes place at 10 a.m. on the courthouse square on Thursday, July 4.


Greendale - July 4 

The City of Greendale has some fun events happening on July fourth including a 5K Race at 8 am, a Fishing Derby at Schnebelts Pond at 9:00am, a Bike Parade at 2:00pm and a Golf Cart Parade at 3:00pm.


A Beer Garden will be available between 5:00-9:30 pm. Fireworks will start at dusk at the Greendale Park.


Guilford - July 4 

The North Dearborn Community Park Presents the 1st Annual Party in the Park. Bring your own chairs, blankets, coolers and yard games! The event kicks off at 7 p.m. with the flag pole dedication and food trucks. The fireworks show starts at 10:15 p.m.


Milan  - July 4 

Breakfast at Methodist Church 7-9 pm; Parade at 10am (line up at Milan High School), Chicken Dinner at Milan Fire Department 11-2; Fireworks at Dusk at Daren Baker Memorial Park.

Patriot - July 4 

The community of Patriot in Switzerland County will host a parade starting at 11 a.m. Thursday. There will also be entertainment such as touch-a-truck, food vendors and live music. The firework show will take place at the Patriot Boat Dock at dusk.


Butlerville - July 5

The 2nd annual Thunder Over Butlerville will take place at Southeastern Indiana Church of God Campgrounds at 5145 County Road 750 East on July 5. The event features live music, food, games and raffles.


Batesville - July 5

Fireworks at Hillcrest Golf and Country Club at 9:45 p.m. on July 5. Click here for other Independence Day events in Batesville. 


Osgood - July 5

Ripley County Chamber of Commerce Chamber Night Fireworks at the Ripley County Fairground Park beginning at 5pm. Live entertainment and free family event, Fireworks at Dark


Vevay - July 5

The Town of Vevay will host Red, White & Boom starting at 6 p.m. at Paul Ogle Riverfront Park. There will be activities such as face painting, food vendors, music and more. Fireworks take place at dusk.


Lake Santee - July 6

The community of Lake Santee will host a fireworks display at dark on Saturday, July 6. Sponsored by Decatur County REMC


Metamora - July 6

Metamora Volunteer Fire Department will host a fireworks show at Gateway park. Community members are encouraged to bring chairs and coolers. The show is expected to start at 10 p.m. Saturday. There is also a parade which you can learn more by clicking here


Rising Sun - July 6 

Live music Including by Saffire Express from 4-6 and Hank Ruff & the Hellbenders from 7-10pm, Deejay JD Hughes. Foam Happy youth foam party in the Foam Zone. City of Rising Sun/Rising Sun Lion’s Club Fireworks at 10pm. (City’s Rain Date for fireworks only-Sunday, July 7.) Bring your own lawn chairs!


Versailles State Park - July 6 

The Versailles State Park  annual Fourth of July Fireworks over the Lake. Fireworks will begin at dusk.
