Woman dies in motorcycle crash near Sandusky

Happened Thursday night

(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – One person was killed in a crash involving a car and a vehicle in Greensburg on Thursday night. 

It happened around 10:30 p.m. on State Road 3 near Sandusky. 

Decatur County deputies say the motorcycle was being followed by a Chevy Trailblazer. The motorcycle slowed down to turn when it was struck from behind. 

The occupants on the motorcycle were Joshua Fields, of Greensburg, and Abby Collins, of Rushville. 

They were both flown to an Indianapolis hospital where Collins passed away from her injuries. 

The Chevy Trailblazer was driven by a 17-year-old who did not have any life threatening injuries.
