Currently in critical condition
(BROOKVILLE, Ind.) – A woman was flown to the hospital after an accident on Brookville Lake Sunday afternoon.
Authorities responded to a report of an unresponsive female around 2:45 p.m. north of Fairfield Causeway.
DNR officials say the 45-year-old woman was tubing when her boat apparently hit a big wave.
There was a paramedic already on scene when the incident occurred who immediately provided medical aid.
Union County firefighters and Reid Health EMS responded to the scene and also rendered aid.
She was flown to a Dayton-area hospital where she remains in critical condition Monday, authorities said.
In a separate incident, there was a jet ski that crashed into a pontoon boat Sunday, however, nobody was hurt.
