Youth program introduces kids to golf in Greensburg

Junior Program for ages 5-18

(GREENSBURG, Ind.) -- Kids are getting introduced to the game of golf through a summer program at the Greensburg Country Club.


The annual 5-week Junior Program was created to provide boys and girls with a fun-filled experience while learning basic fundamentals of the sport.


Junior Program has three different age brackets, 5-9 year-olds, 10-13 year-olds, and teens between 14-18.


They meet each Monday evening at the country club. The director of the program is Jason Gindling.


"This idea was inspired by Mr. Bill Wenning who was my junior instructor along with Mr. Norm Denny and Mr. Mike Stokes," Gindling said.


The instructors aee Buck Gindling, Terry Alverson, Megan Moles and Bill Todd.
